A low-powered noisemaker Carl invents while experimenting with weaker explosives: just a wick and fuse pulled from a hob-lobber. Does almost no damage, makes little sound, but throws sparks for about five seconds, useful for startling a target's dot to hostile red without giving away a real attack.
