THE CRAWLER'S COMPANIONpatch notes for the apocalypse

Kobold Fighting Pits

First seen: Book 1, Chapter 46

The kobold quadrant's boss facility on floor 2, named outright by its own Master Pen Key as holding cages for 'both the fighters and the bait animals.' Explored fully for the first time after Ralph's boss fight: a main room littered with the slagged remains of the kobold horde, opening into a small, round arena with a blood-stained dirt floor, a wall-high pile of bones, rows of wooden chairs, and a back wall lined with ten more cages, this time holding docile reward-room animals rather than fighters. Trips two discovery achievements at once: a general reward room and a dedicated pet reward room the achievement text nicknames Menagerie.
