Station 60

First seen: Book 3, Chapter 18

Per Madison, supposed to be a sprawling employee-housing hub with dormitories, apartments, restaurants, and stores, served by every colored line and by the Homeward Bound, with a portal to a fixed destination regardless of which train or substation a rider started from. In reality a single decrepit, cobweb-covered platform with no settlement at all: false, per Carl's reading, the same paper-backdrop problem he'd already found in Vernon, Widget, and Madison herself.

Station

Appearance

Appearance:

A single old, cobweb-covered platform, the only one on its line, with a small upper room reached by its own stairwell and a confusing tangle of further stairs and platforms below; no dormitories, apartments, restaurants, or stores of any kind despite what Madison had describedB3C18

Connections

Homeward Bound:

Supposed to run here alongside every colored line, per Madison; the empty station suggests it likely never actually made the tripB3C18

Madison:

Refuses to keep traveling once the station turns out empty, insisting security or Rod will come for her; left behind here by CarlB3C18
