THE CRAWLER'S COMPANIONpatch notes for the apocalypse

Trainyard M

also known as Yard M

First seen: Book 3, Chapter 28

Where a group of crawlers happens to be grinding when the two runaway Sinopia and Grullo rescue carts, having already dumped their stranded riders through misaligned abyss gates, come looping back through on their own. The switching system auto-routes both into a dead-end engine-holding track; the first flips on impact hard enough to send the yard's entire awning system into the abyss before its portal shuts itself off, and the second flips the same way minutes later. The crawlers there eventually right one of the two and get it running again, giving them a weapon to keep at least one nearby track clear.
