Valtay

also known as Gondii

A parasitic worm race, classified by Mordecai as a type of creature called a Gondii, that reactivates a dead body within hours of its death and keeps it running for centuries by reading its old memories. Distinct from Intellect Hunters, a separate body-snatching race whose hosts rot almost immediately, and from Infiltrators, a third and more insidious kind Mordecai declines to explain further. The likely namesake of Carl's own sponsor, the Valtay Corporation, though nothing on the page confirms that link outright.
