Withering Spirit

Per Mordecai: what results when a split soul fails to fully reunite in a proper vessel. Neither alive nor dead and nearly impossible to kill, but mostly harmless, haunting whatever object it's stuck in with very little real power. Commonly used by the dungeon as quest-giving NPCs; Remex, from the third floor, is a purpose-built and far more dangerous version of the same mechanic.
