Level 20, an almost-human ghoul with green, rotting skin pulled tight over the skull, encountered by the hundreds pouring off station 72's platform onto the Vermillion line. Per its own card, tenacious and top of the line among the Iron Tangle's ghoul types, born one at a time from a soul crystal-powered Ghoul Generator every time a non-undead mob dies anywhere on the floor. Carl crushes two loose heads and torsos underfoot in the train's cab; the rest are mowed down and pulled into Katia's inventory by the trainload.
