THE CRAWLER'S COMPANIONpatch notes for the apocalypse

Celestial Grenade

First seen: Book 4, Chapter 14

An old weapon of the nuns of Enyo, dating back to a time when gods competed openly for worshippers. Triggering one summons the wielder's own patron god into the area for sixty seconds, granting the wielder a Divine Intervention buff in the process; a wielder with no patron summons a random god instead, without the buff. Mordecai calls them very expensive and rare, more commonly seen around floor nine. Maggie My, controlling Chris Andrews 2's body, pulls one meaning to trigger it against the party before Carl intercepts it; who exactly she meant to target isn't confirmed here.
