THE CRAWLER'S COMPANIONpatch notes for the apocalypse

Dwarven Industrial Light-Duty Automaton

First seen: Book 3, Chapter 6

A pair found sitting inactive against the far wall of a supposed boss room off Banshee Station, mistaken at first for lumps of wall. Bulldozer-sized, black-and-silver, blocky humanoid contraptions built for simple labor like hauling ore, not combat, though their own card notes crawlers wouldn't stand a chance if they were turned on. Carrying no minimap dot at all while off, the same way the floor 3 depot's inactive swordsmen guards did. Carl blows both apart with hobgoblin dynamite for crafting materials.

Carl:

Rigs both with three sticks of hobgoblin dynamite and a detonator, retreats to the platform, and sets them off; neither one so much as twitches before or during. Spends time afterward stripping the wreckage for scrap metal, cogs, wheels, and two damaged dwarven batteriesB3C6
