Enchanted Repeating Crossbow of the Scavenger Mother of Mothers

Hekla's own signature weapon, looted by Katia the instant her reanimated corpse-minion state ends. A unique repeating crossbow, gold in color and carved with a vulture motif, startlingly light for its size. Never runs out of its own basic ammunition, though other ammo types can be loaded without their bonuses applying. Usable only by a female; damage and firing speed both scale up 25 percent per female party member, up to thirty, and it adds +15 Dexterity and +10 Strength to its wielder along with a bonus to base damage from strength and level. It also casts a spell called Birth Defect on monsters that generate or birth other monsters. Weaker in Katia's hands than it had been in Hekla's, per Carl, though he's already scheming ways to make the most of it.
