Gate Pass

First seen: Book 2, Chapter 17

A paper found in GumGum's inventory after her death, signed by Magistrate Featherfall, that keeps the town's Swordsman guards off the holder's back over minor crimes as long as they're not too overt about it. Only valid within the township that issued it. Carl calls it basically a get-out-of-jail card and keeps it.
