THE CRAWLER'S COMPANIONpatch notes for the apocalypse

Hobgoblin Disco Ball

First seen: Book 4, Chapter 18

A hobgoblin smoke curtain soaked in an invisibility potion, made at Carl's sapper's table using a recipe he stole from the Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook, though he plans to pretend he stumbled onto it himself. Its own tooltip warns the caster isn't immune to the effect, unlike a regular smoke curtain: it fills the air with thick, multi-colored, sound-reactive smoke that blinds everyone inside it, thrower included. Set off by accident in the crafting room when robot Donut knocks it to the floor, coating Carl, Mordecai, and the common area in a technicolor dust residue.
