The item Carl's Sheol Glass Reaper Case transforms into the instant the trapped soul crystal inside it detonates. Its own tooltip names it an unstable custom explosive, made by combining a massively overloaded soul crystal and a Sheol Glass Reaper Case, powerful enough to level a whole city and its suburbs, and warns it can no longer be stabilized. Carl manages to pull it into his inventory in the two seconds before it would have gone off, but can't safely take it back out; the moment he does, it explodes.
