THE CRAWLER'S COMPANIONpatch notes for the apocalypse

The Downward Dog

First seen: Book 3, Chapter 25

A tavern-style bar at station 75, its front door posted with a handwritten "Oi! No hobgoblins!" sign. Not a true saferoom: there's a screen over the bar and an entrance to the party's own personal space, but no rooms for rent, and boxes can't be opened or mobs kept out inside the bar itself. Beer-soaked and dark, tended by a sleeping, unnamed Shade Gnoll bartender, a gnoll variant the party hasn't seen before.

Finds a lone, sleeping Shade Gnoll bartender inside, snoring atop the bar surrounded by empty bottles; puts off asking his story until after showeringB3C25
