Chapter 2
  • TAG Race Option: Floor 3's race-selection screen; a blank slate rather than a species with a look of its own
  • STAT Effects: -1 to all base stats. Keeps every skill tied to the crawler's prior race, plus unlocks all higher-tier skills to train up to level 20 instead of the usual cap. Choosing it, like Human, unlocks multiple exclusive earth-based classes
  • TAG Lore: Per Mordecai, the first known species to conquer the universe, then vanished after a galaxy-spanning war whose wreckage still turns up. Nobody knows what they looked like; a discovered Primal AI takes the form of whoever finds it, which is why Primal crawlers keep their own prior appearance. Said to return one day; some systems worship them as gods, and mothers invoke them to frighten children
